Board Elections / Candidates
Our Nov meeting includes elections for all board positions.
Below is the list of all board positions. Attached below is the application needed to be submitted to be considered as a candidate for a board position.
In the contested positions (those with more than one person running for the position), we will provide candidate’ ‘names and additional information on their backgrounds/qualifications prior to the meeting.

- Field Commissioner

WHEN AND WHERE WILL ELECTIONS BE HELD?
When: November membership meeting

WHO CAN RUN?
Any FC Dallastown members in good standing with the Club can run to be on the FC Dallastown Board. If interested in running for a board position, please complete the above application and email to president@dallastownsoccerclub.org by no later than a week before the November meeting. Ideal candidates should have volunteer history with the Club, such as team manager, coach, field lining, etc.
WHO CAN VOTE?
All active FC Dallastown members are eligible to vote. FC Dallastown members include all executive board members, officers, coaches, and parents of registered players.
CAN BOTH PARENTS VOTE?
No, only one vote per family (the parent on record for the person who registered the child for this soccer year).
I HAVE 3 CHILDREN IN FC DALLASTOWN SOCCER CLUB. WILL I GET 3 BALLOTS/VOTES?
No. One ballot/vote.
WHY ARE WE HAVING BOARD ELECTIONS?
FC Dallastown conducts board elections at it’s November Board meeting per our bylaws.
WHY ARE WE BEING ASKED TO VOTE?
When we have a contested election (more than 1 candidate per positions) a vote is needed. It is important that every member exercise their right to vote.
HOW ARE MEMBERS BEING NOTIFIED BY FC DALLASTOWN OF THE ELECTION?
All information will be posted on our website, mass e-mail sent to our membership, and posted on our Facebook site. Also, this special Board Election Information page has been set up. Note, all e-mail messages are sent to the e-mail address on record for the person who registered the child for this soccer year.
WHEN AND WHERE WILL ELECTION RESULTS BE ANNOUNCED?
Elections results will be announced on this website as soon as possible after the Nov meeting.
